Lot locations
Formal Gardens
A Grade II-listed, Victorian country house on the lot at Pinewood Studios. The interiors and foyers have been featured in many films doubling as The White House and the British Embassy.
The spectacular wood-panelled, 19th century ballroom within Heatherden Hall features its original oak-sprung dance floor, stage area, crystal chandeliers, open fireplace and French windows onto the terrace and gardens.
A perfect filming location for historical and contemporary films, TV productions and commercials, Heatherden Hall’s magnificent formal gardens, picturesque lake, fountain and bridge have external power and easy access. The location has featured in Mary Poppins Returns as Regent’s Park and Cinderella as the palace gardens.
Two magnificent wood-panelled boardrooms within the 19th century Heatherden Hall can be used for meetings and location filming. The large and small rooms can be opened into one large space.
Suitable as an events space or a filming location, a huge sandstone fireplace dominates this wood-panelled room, which opens out into the gardens and connects to the Ballroom.
Located on the first floor of the historic Heatherden Hall, the long Picture Gallery with its high ceilings has been used for location filming as an art gallery space.

Adjacent to Pinewood Studios is Black Park. Owned by Buckinghamshire County Council, it consists of 618 acres of vast heath and woodland. With easy-access tracks from unit base to location and a gate from the studios leading directly to the park, it’s doubled as 19th century France, upstate New York, the Balkans and Wales to mention but a few.

Getting Here
The Studios operate a free shuttle bus service to local underground and mainline stations for all Pinewood staff, studio tenants, production crew and visitors.
- Buses operate Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) and run between Pinewood Studios, Uxbridge Underground Station, Gerrards Cross Station, West Ruislip and Slough Station.
- Admission to the bus is upon presentation of proof of identity or other authorisation (visitors must be issued with a letter or email authorising them to use the shuttle service).
Our 16-seater minibuses leave from the following pick-up points:
- Pinewood Studios (pickup) – Pinewood Road, busses leave from outside Double Lodge
- Uxbridge – Bakers Road (AM), and High Street (PM)
- Slough – Layby on Brunel Way
- Gerrards Cross – Outside the train station entrance
- West Ruislip – Station car park

The nearest main line stations are Gerrards Cross or Slough.
- From Marylebone take the Chiltern Line overland train to Gerrards Cross. The journey lasts approximately 20 – 30 minutes. It will then take 10 minutes by taxi (based at the station) to reach Pinewood Studios.
- From Paddington take the Thames Train or Great Western to Slough. The journey lasts approximately 20 – 30 minutes. It will then take 10 minutes by taxi (based at the station) to reach Pinewood Studios.
The nearest Underground station is Uxbridge.
- From Baker Street take the Metropolitan Line to Uxbridge. The journey will last approximately 45 minutes. It will then take 10 minutes by taxi (based at the station) to reach Pinewood Studios.
